New models now available as part of HIV-TRePS v6.4.2.0

Dear RDI subscriber / HIV-TRePS user,

We are writing to you today to tell you about the latest advance with the HIV Treatment Response Predictions system - HIV TRePS. We have updated the models that make predictions of virological response for cases where a genotype is available.

The new random forest models were developed using an expanded training set of 11,417 complete treatment change episodes from more than 30 countries. These models use more extensive treatment information in their predictions than before - 20 variables representing each of 20 antiretroviral drugs, in the new regimen being modelled and in the patient's past. During cross validation the models achieved a mean area under the ROC curve (AUC) of 0.86.

We hope this development enhances your use of HIV-TRePS

The RDI team.
