The first goal of the RDI is to further develop the database and bioinformatic tools. This will to enable us to conduct more research and modelling of the relationship between the genetic code of HIV (genotype), the drugs used to treat a patient and their responses to those drugs. Ultimately we aim to provide a free on-line tool for predicting virological response to combination therapy from drug resistance and other baseline information as an aid to treatment decision-making.
